Extended Warranty

The Manufacturer’s Warranty is the warranty the manufacturer offers that covers manufacturing defects in the appliance.

The Extended Warranty will start immediately after the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty.

It covers breakdowns due to manufacturing defects after the Manufacturer’s Warranty expires. In short, it is an extension of the Manufacturer’s Warranty for a particular duration.

The coverage will expire if there is a change in ownership. Moreover, the certificate cannot be renewed after the expiry of the policy period unless otherwise stated.

No, there is no such limit. However, claims shall be payable only up to the Invoice Value during the Extended Warranty duration.

No, accidental or liquid damage is not covered under your Extended Warranty plan.

Assets up to 3 years of Manufacturer’s Warranty can be enrolled under the Extended Warranty of up to 2 years. The maximum duration of the coverage is 5 years (Manufacturer’s + Extended Warranty).

No, regular/preventive maintenance is not covered under your Extended Warranty plan.

You need to call Global Assure’s toll-free number to register the claim. After that, global Assure will settle the claim.

No, there is no such limit. However, claims shall be payable only up to the Invoice Value during the Extended Warranty duration.

You will receive our special privilege of cashless and paperless repair. However, in a rare scenario, if reimbursement mode is opted for, you will need our in-principal approval for the reimbursement.

Global Assure will make every possible endeavour to ensure that the part is repaired or replaced through an authorized service centre. However, if the appliance is out of the market, Global Assure will offer a pre-negotiated settlement.

Depreciation means a loss in market value. Global Assure calculates the same to determine the actual value of your appliance at the time of claim. Further, depreciation is applicable only in case of Total Loss or Beyond Economic Repairs.

Total Loss or Beyond Economic Repairs occurs only if the repair cost exceeds 75% of the Balance Sum Insured. (Balance Sum Insured is the balance amount after accounting for all the claims paid).

Sum Insured shall be equal to the invoice price of the electronic appliance and is the amount mentioned on your Extended Warranty certificate. Sum Insured decreases with every claim paid, which is Balance Sum Insured.

Wallet Protection

You need to report the loss as soon as you know about it. Call us at Wallet Protection helpline, and we will block all your cards to avoid financial losses arising out of unauthorised use.

You will receive a message from Global Assure confirming that your cards are blocked. In addition, you may also receive notifications from respective issuing banks regarding blocking your different cards.

You can avail Card Assist facility in XX countries by calling local Card Assist helplines.

Your international cards aren't covered under Card Assist, but all cards issued by Indian banks are.
