    The Manufacturer’s Warranty is the warranty the manufacturer offers that covers manufacturing defects in the appliance.

    The Extended Warranty will start immediately after the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty.

    It covers breakdowns due to manufacturing defects after the Manufacturer’s Warranty expires. In short, it is an extension of the Manufacturer’s Warranty for a particular duration.

    The coverage will expire if there is a change in ownership. Moreover, the certificate cannot be renewed after the expiry of the policy period unless otherwise stated.

    No, there is no such limit. However, claims shall be payable only up to the Invoice Value during the Extended Warranty duration.

    Global Assure will make every possible endeavour to ensure that the part is repaired or replaced through an authorized service centre. However, if the appliance is out of the market, Global Assure will offer a pre-negotiated settlement.

    Depreciation means a loss in market value. Global Assure calculates the same to determine the actual value of your appliance at the time of claim. Further, depreciation is applicable only in case of Total Loss or Beyond Economic Repairs.

    Total Loss or Beyond Economic Repairs occurs only if the repair cost exceeds 75% of the Balance Sum Insured. (Balance Sum Insured is the balance amount after accounting for all the claims paid).

    Sum Insured shall be equal to the invoice price of the electronic appliance and is the amount mentioned on your Extended Warranty certificate. Sum Insured decreases with every claim paid, which is Balance Sum Insured.
